Job Title: Flooring Industry Sales Professional

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Flooring Industry Sales Professional to join our team at Apartment & Office Floors, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with apartment communities in the MD/VA/DC Metro area and identifying opportunities to provide them with flooring solutions that create best value.

About Us: Apartment & Office Floors, Inc. has been in business for over 50 years and is the PREMIER flooring replacement experts that apartment communities in the MD/VA/DC Metro call on for help with their replacements.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and build relationships within the multi-family industry.
  • Inform customers about flooring solutions that create best value.
  • Execute innovative sales strategies that drive attainment of sales goals.
  • Respond to customer needs / complaints with solutions / resolutions.
  • Prospect and follow up by phone, email, and primarily in-person site visits to create new partnerships and win new accounts.
  • Report to and work with the executive team in forming short- and long-term strategies to win accounts and grow market share.
  • Work with assigned Project Managers / other internal departments to manage inventory, provide quotes, and address client needs.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales. Winning accounts is the #1 priority in this position.
  • Knowledge of the Multi-Family Industry and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional communication skills. You must be likeable and attentive with follow-up to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Capability of owning the entire sales cycle.
