We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lift Operator to join our team at Ragged Mountain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of all on-mountain lifts in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all lifts and lift systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of lift terminal buildings and surrounding areas
  • Set up and tear down lift corridors, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of guests
  • Check tickets and ensure all safety regulations are followed
  • Remove snow and maintain loading and unloading areas to specification
  • Load and unload chairs/carpet, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Interact positively with guests and staff, providing excellent customer service
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by the Lift Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Safety-focused and able to use personal protective equipment when required
  • Positive attitude and excellent guest/staff interaction skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Work in adverse outdoor environments throughout the year
  • Able to learn the controls and operation of lifts
  • Able to focus on lift operation while on duty

Responsibilities, duties, and requirements for this position may change at any time, with or without a change in title, benefits, or salary. This position requires a flexible schedule, working holidays, weekends, and long hours as necessary.
