Ski Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski/Ride Instructor to join our team at Ragged Mountain. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional lessons to our guests, promoting a safe and engaging learning environment, and embodying the values of our resort.

• Conduct safe and effective lessons for students of all skill levels
• Manage lesson time efficiently and effectively
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our guests
• Provide clear and concise feedback to students, promoting improvement and progress
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and guests
• Enforce resort policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all

• PSIA/AASI Certification preferred, but not required
• Strong skiing or snowboarding skills, with the ability to teach and coach others
• Excellent leadership and group management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and work in inclement weather and cold temperatures
• Strong teaching, training, and coaching skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of our guests
