Overview

Dayton Freight is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize territory revenue and provide customized business solutions for prospects and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing action plans to achieve sales objectives and maximize territory revenue.
  • Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
  • Stay informed about competitor developments and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Safeguard all assigned company assets and proprietary data to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the Service Center team to facilitate information meetings and ensure effective communication.
  • Perform special assignments as directed by management to support the growth and success of the company.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business, or at least 5 years of comparable sales experience.
  • Proven sales skills and ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to meet with customers.
  • Knowledge of the surrounding geographical market and the LTL industry.
