Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing workforce development programs to support the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement workforce development strategies to meet the needs of the healthcare industry
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, community organizations, and healthcare leaders to design and implement workforce development programs
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of workforce development programs, including budgeting, planning, and evaluation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare leaders, educators, and community organizations
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform workforce development strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in project management, strategy, and/or workforce development
  • Experience with stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare workforce development
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and workforce development strategies
Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions; cold, hot, dust, wind, etc.
