Position Summary

Soliant is seeking a committed and skilled Educational Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting students to enhance their communication and language abilities, thereby fostering their academic achievements. Your contributions will include assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families, ensuring a positive influence on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech and language to evaluate students' communication capabilities.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's speech and language objectives.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address students' communication requirements within the educational environment.
  • Recommend and implement suitable accommodations and strategies to enhance students' communication skills in the classroom.
  • Track students' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain precise and current documentation and reports.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and assist in the formulation of students' Individualized Education Programs.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience with school-aged children is advantageous, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapeutic methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
