Position Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Overview: Soliant is in search of a skilled and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our dedicated team. This role is essential in fostering the communication and language development of students, ultimately enhancing their academic performance. The SLP will engage in comprehensive assessments, provide targeted interventions, and collaborate with educators and families to support students' communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of speech and language to determine students' communication abilities.
- Design and execute personalized treatment strategies aimed at achieving specific speech and language objectives.
- Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, both in individual and group settings.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address students' communication requirements within the educational setting.
- Advise on and implement suitable accommodations and techniques to enhance students' communication skills in the classroom.
- Track and assess students' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain precise and current documentation and reports regarding student progress.
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of Individualized Education Programs for students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience with school-aged children is advantageous, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapeutic methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
