About the Role

This position provides customer care to vulnerable communities in America who need to navigate complex healthcare plans. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional responses to their inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service for basic and routine inquiries and problems via multiple channels (telephone, email, web chat, or written letters)
  • Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting
  • Provide feedback and input on call trends, processes, procedures, and training
  • Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff
  • Follow policies and standard operating procedures, including filling out timesheets and adhering to privacy and HIPAA rules
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience
  • Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
  • Ability to work within established turnaround times
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
Benefits
