Job Summary

At Altruix, we're on a mission to revolutionize pharmacy services for behavioral health and intellectual & developmental disability populations. As a Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care and achieve improved outcomes.

Our pharmacy expertise, combined with Medherent technology and special packaging, promotes medication adherence and reduces errors. You'll work closely with our team to evaluate physician medication orders, maintain patient databases, and ensure timely laboratory tests for high-risk conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, and potential interactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient databases, including current and past medical history, clinical data, and concurrent medications.
  • Ensure timely laboratory tests for monitoring high-risk conditions and discuss results with the healthcare team.
  • Obtain and maintain required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Inform the Pharmacist in Charge of medication-related errors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical preparation and practices.
  • Licensed Pharmacist listed by the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years' experience as a pharmacist, with a preference for long-term care pharmacy experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and a team player with excellent oral communication skills.
  • Able to master computer/software applications necessary for completing job tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple employees and workloads, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
