KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver courteous and high-quality service to customers of Farmers Bank;
  • Oversee a cash drawer in accordance with company guidelines and perform various teller duties as assigned;
  • Execute daily transactions, which may include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, night deposits, change orders, wire transfers, and check orders.
  • Maintain awareness of, promote, and advocate for the Bank's products and services.
  • Adhere strictly to the Bank's policies, procedures, and practices to ensure the security and integrity of the Bank's operations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Customer-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Capability to identify risks related to business activities and potential policy violations.
  • Proficient with technology and skilled in operating automated systems, software, and equipment.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Demonstrated experience in cash handling and customer service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role is primarily conducted in an office setting. It requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and intermittent mental and visual focus for computer tasks. Responsibilities include talking, listening, reaching, lifting, and handling with repetitive hand and eye movements. Occasionally, the employee may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The typical noise level is quiet to moderate. Standard working hours are generally 40 hours per week, with potential community engagement expectations. Employees may be asked to work evenings and/or weekends.
