Position Overview

As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing title orders, gathering necessary information, and preparing settlement statements and closing disclosures. You will also work closely with buyers, sellers, and their agents to ensure a seamless transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with buyers and sellers to gather information and provide updates
  • Order titles, payoffs, estoppels, and other searches and documentation
  • Prepare settlement statements and closing disclosures
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve title issues and ensure accurate documentation
  • Verify all funds are collected and documents are accurate before disbursement
  • Verify all legal documents for correct acknowledgments, legal, and liens before recording

Requirements

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Minimum of 5 years licensure and experience in title/escrow transactions
  • Intermediate experience using technology such as G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Notary (Preferred)
  • Experience using closing software such as Qualia is a plus
