Job Title: Senior Paralegal - Real Estate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Real Estate team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft due diligence checklists and manage checklists, due diligence with third parties, and closing calls.
  • Manage virtual data rooms and review and comment on title and survey and coordinate with title companies and surveyors.
  • Draft purchase and sale agreements and leases, as well as loan agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, mortgages/deeds of trusts, and other ancillary loan documents.
  • Assist attorneys with other various tasks and assignments, including conducting and reviewing UCC judgment and lien searches at federal, state, and county levels.
  • Interface directly with clients and other business parties to coordinate due diligence, closing, and funding.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation and distribution of closing binders and other post-closing deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience.
  • Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program or graduation from an institutionally accredited program that is not ABA-approved but requires not less than the equivalent of 60 semester hours of classroom study.
  • Three years or more of in-house training comparable to the type of training a paralegal would receive at the Firm.

  • Highly organized, able to prioritize workflow and manage projects.
