About the Role

Boston Scientific is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing organization to optimize existing processes and ensure production goals are met.
  • Monitor the performance of equipment, machines, and tools, and correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.
  • Interface with Quality and Research and Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, industrial, biomedical, or chemical engineering).
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in an engineering-related field.
  • Proven understanding of manufacturing problem-solving, data analysis, and production flow tools (i.e., LEAN manufacturing).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with validation and qualification of equipment.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and present ideas via visual communication methods.
