About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our FARAPULSE Capital Equipment team in Arden Hills, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring engineering peers, and providing daily support to the production floor to ensure that product, processes, material, and equipment meet our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to coordinate, manage, communicate, and document project goals and progress.
  • Support technicians during troubleshooting activities when complex technical issues arise on the production floor.
  • Identify, analyze, and propose process and product improvements using continuous improvement tools.
  • Assess the feasibility of new technologies, products, and equipment in the area.
  • Design and coordinate applicable engineering tests and experiments.
  • Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex test results.
  • Design and prepare engineering reports and communicate results to technical and leadership audiences.
  • Complete and manage Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERA's) to drive equipment strategy within the Business Unit.
  • Train team members, including engineers, technicians, and product builders on specific tasks.
  • Participate in the development of junior staff by providing guidance on engineering best practices and offering technical counsel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience (advanced degree with 3+ years of experience may be considered).
  • Experience in a regulated industry.
  • Proven experience solving advanced technical problems.
  • Experience managing and leading multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Experience performing complex process validation or equipment qualification activities (testing, documentation, training, statistical analysis, etc.).
  • Experience with Capital Equipment assembly and electrical test processes.
