Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking part-time Hosts to enhance the guest experience at The Turn at Titletown. In this role, you will be pivotal in greeting visitors and overseeing the host station.

Compensation

This is a tipped role; therefore, the listed hourly wage does not account for any potential gratuities.

Hourly Rate: $13.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily seating arrangements and reservation logs to create efficient seating plans.
  • Accommodate guests and manage wait times effectively.
  • Inspect dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Engage with guests to confirm satisfaction with their dining experience, address any concerns, and express gratitude as they depart.
  • Handle incoming calls during operational hours.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Availability to work weekends and during events is required.
  • Strong guest service skills and adherence to company service standards.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Capable of following procedures and instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of your shift, including navigating stairs.
  • Capability to move between tables and around corners.
  • Frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to read seating charts and communicate effectively with guests.
Work Schedule

Availability for weekends and event-based shifts is necessary.
