Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking part-time Hosts to enhance the guest experience at The Turn at Titletown. In this role, you will be tasked with greeting patrons and overseeing the host station.

Compensation

This is a tipped role; therefore, the hourly wage mentioned does not encompass potential gratuities.

Hourly Rate: $13.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the seating chart and reservation book daily to prepare seating arrangements
  • Accommodate guests and manage wait times effectively
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining and service areas
  • Engage with guests to confirm satisfaction with food and service, address concerns, and express gratitude as they depart
  • Handle restaurant phone inquiries during operational hours
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Availability to work weekends and during events is required.
  • Exceptional guest service skills and adherence to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Detail-oriented and attentive
  • Ability to maintain high energy levels in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Capable of following established procedures and instructions
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and colleagues
Physical Demands
  • Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift, including navigating stairs
  • Ability to move between tables and around corners
  • Frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to read seating charts and communicate with guests
Shift Information

Availability required on weekends and for event-based shifts.
