Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking part-time Hosts to enhance the guest experience at The Turn at Titletown. In this role, you will be pivotal in greeting visitors and overseeing the host station.

Compensation

This role is classified as a tipped position; therefore, the hourly wage mentioned does not encompass any potential tips.

Hourly Rate: $13.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily floor plans and reservation books to create seating arrangements.
  • Seat guests and manage wait times effectively.
  • Inspect dining and service areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Engage with guests to confirm satisfaction with food and service, address complaints, and express gratitude as they depart.
  • Answer restaurant phone calls during operational hours.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Availability to work weekends and during events is required.
  • Exceptional guest service skills; ability to adhere to the Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Ability to maintain high energy levels in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Capable of following specific procedures and instructions.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain on feet for the duration of the shift, including walking up and down stairs.
  • Ability to navigate between tables and around corners.
  • Frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to read seating charts and communicate with guests.
