Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of packages and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery to our customers.
  • Lead and Direct Staff: Supervise and mentor a team of logistics and distribution professionals to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels at multiple sites to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics and distribution, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals. Proficient in inventory management and process improvement techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Packaging Center: Previous experience working in a packaging center or inventory control environment is highly preferred.
  • WMS Knowledge: Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and experience with inventory control software.
  • Multilingual: Proficiency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Environment: Office, warehouse, and occasional outdoor work environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, sit, hear, see, and frequently perform other physical tasks.
  • Travel: Some national travel may be required.
