Position Summary:
The Overnight Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring resident satisfaction within the apartment community. This position is responsible for managing daily operations to guarantee that all events and service requests are addressed promptly and professionally. The role operates on a 24/7 basis in select locations, specifically focusing on evening shifts at others. The primary responsibilities include serving as the hospitality ambassador, being the first point of contact for residents, visitors, prospects, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm and an outgoing personality, coupled with a strong customer service orientation. This role aims to fulfill residents' requests, answer inquiries, and assist in apartment leasing (including providing information, conducting tours, and handling calls) during off-hours when the leasing office is closed or when necessary.
Work Schedule: Overnight Shift, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (7 pm to 7 am)
Employment Type: Full-time with Comprehensive Benefits
Compensation: $19/hr + bonus
- Greet residents and guests warmly as they enter the building.
- Maintain regular communication with residents through newsletters and community updates.
- Familiarize yourself with local attractions and amenities to provide recommendations to residents.
- Engage in event marketing initiatives.
- Distribute brochures, floor plans, and other relevant materials to clients.
- Complete guest cards, offer mini-tours, and act on behalf of leasing during off-hours.
- Retrieve packages for residents.
- Provide refreshments to residents and guests.
- Maintain the Concierge Binder with updated information.
- Ensure the front lobby is stocked with magazines, brochures, maps, and transportation schedules.
- Keep the front desk, lobby area, and storage spaces organized and clean.
- Prepare incident reports and necessary documentation.
- Adhere to established policies regarding fair housing.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and all external contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all interactions with co-workers, management, residents, and vendors.
- Minimum of one year of college education, along with social media skills, customer service experience, and strong writing abilities.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule any day of the week.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to resolve minor issues while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Team-oriented mindset.
