About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Mercer Investments LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for evaluating real assets markets, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, and managing client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform investment due diligence on primary funds and co-investments in infrastructure, providing project support and taking on more senior roles related to project delivery.
  • Prepare screening memos and detailed investment recommendations to support the investment decision-making and portfolio construction processes.
  • Monitor portfolio investments through regular calls and meetings with fund managers, developing and maintaining relationships with fund managers and intermediaries to ensure a systematic coverage of relevant investment opportunities.
  • Support intellectual capital development through the preparation of regular market update documents and assist with ad-hoc requests from clients and consultants.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Mercer Alternatives team when participating in industry events.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in finance, economics, or other business-related areas.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in asset management, consulting / fiduciary management, corporate finance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and an ability to interact with and present confidently to colleagues, investment managers, and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office applications.
  • Self-motivated team player that is willing to learn, support different projects and work collaboratively.
