POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Front Desk Representative, your role will be to greet our guests warmly, understanding their unique stories and needs, and taking ownership of their experience to create memorable moments that extend beyond their stay.
COMPENSATION: $17.90
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests to the property and the MGM Resorts family by delivering exceptional service, anticipating guest needs, and addressing any concerns in line with our service standards.
- Facilitate a smooth and professional experience by managing early and late arrivals/departures, walk-ins, and all tasks related to guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Enhance guest satisfaction by offering upgraded accommodations when available, following authorized procedures.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and fulfill special requests.
- Ensure accurate charges and credits are processed, collect payments, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain responsibility for balancing all financial transactions.
- Control and distribute keys while ensuring the security, privacy, and confidentiality of all guests, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
- Minimum of one (1) year of direct guest service experience.
- Ability to perceive and respond to individual needs, handling all situations with composure and professionalism.
- Proficient in computer applications including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as standard office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills to operate effectively under time constraints and meet established deadlines, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent listening skills paired with sound judgment.
- Knowledge of room capacities and amenities.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.
