The Maintenance Department at Quinn's Hot Springs plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the resort by handling a variety of tasks, from landscaping to equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to requests for assistance from various departments with a professional and helpful demeanor.
  • Managing waste disposal throughout the resort.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment and structures using both hand and power tools.
  • Carrying out landscaping duties, including mowing, planting, and tree removal.
  • Executing snow removal tasks such as shoveling and plowing.
  • Building and repairing furniture and equipment utilized in the resort.
  • Conducting general cleaning of facilities.
  • Assembling, installing, or repairing basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintaining and repairing structures like fences, decks, and windows.
  • Ensuring the upkeep of specialized equipment in various resort areas.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols while performing all tasks.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to respond effectively to instructions from supervisors and colleagues.
  • Capability to assess and determine the best course of action for requests.
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with landscaping and groundskeeping equipment.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Possession of a valid Montana Driver's License.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders and access confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
