About the Position:
The Account Executive role is a field-oriented, direct sales position focused on both client retention and expansion through contract enhancements and the introduction of innovative products and services. You will engage with senior executives to formulate and execute a comprehensive, enterprise-wide strategy that optimizes the value provided by Gartner's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and drive retention and growth.
- Responsible for achieving a quota exceeding $800,000 in contract value within a designated territory of major client accounts.
- Exhibit mastery and consistent application of Gartner's sales methodologies.
- Conduct thorough account planning and territory management.
- Ensure accurate forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in consultative sales, ideally within high technology sectors (services, software, or consultative environments), demonstrating a history of sales success.
- Strong intellectual capacity, motivation, executive presence, and sales proficiency.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives in large enterprise organizations.
- High level of computer proficiency and effective presentation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the complete sales cycle.
- Bachelor's or master's degree is preferred.
