We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients under the supervision of a physician
- Document patient care and medical records
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures
- Assist in diagnosing medical problems and developing care plans
- Order and perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
- Communicate with patients and families regarding medical information
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- At least one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications
