Job Summary:

Volt is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in Carlsbad. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and sub-assembling devices, performing electronic and mechanical assembly work of higher complexity, and testing operations of routers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly work of higher complexity
  • Component installation
  • Testing operations of routers
  • Perform wiring, cable harnessing on assembly units
  • Work on prototype assemblies and subcomponents
  • Fit, align and adjust components to solder
  • Use various tools for assembly
  • Read work orders, drawing, and/or blue prints
  • Inspection of finished product


Requirements:
  • Must be able to use a variety of tools
  • Able to read work instructions
  • Detail oriented
  • Read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to assemble small components and mechanical assemblies using various hand tools and power drivers
  • Computer skills
  • Able to work independently and understand build assemblies and work instructions
