Job Summary

Skidmore College is seeking a part-time Campus Safety Officer to ensure the safety and security of all members of the campus community in a customer service-centric manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety training and engage in community outreach
  • Respond to emergencies and render first aid
  • Investigate incidents and document violations of law or policy
  • Perform vehicle and foot patrol, dispatching, and desk duties
  • Enforce college rules and regulations
Requirements
  • NYS certified security guard or ability to obtain and maintain a NYS Security Guard license within 30 days
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma
  • Familiarity with computer applications
  • At least one year of related experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
Pay Range

$20.50 - $21.50 per hour
