Job Summary

M/I Homes is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Closing Coordinator to join our team. As a Closing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely completion of new home sales. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and verify sales documents, closing information, and customer data to ensure accurate and timely completion of scheduled homebuyer closings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify sales pricing and process new home sales contracts
  • Verify and process customer selection sheets, selection revisions, pricing changes, and other sales information
  • Compile and verify all closing information, including surveys, certifications, loan approvals, and deeds
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
  • Coordinate web pricing, MLS, NSO's, verifying pricing, missing addendums, deposit schedules, and letters
  • Verify and record home buyer deposits and compile and copy final closing document packages
  • Perform miscellaneous routine administrative functions to assist the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and sales consultants in daily workflow
Requirements

Minimum Education Experience: High school graduate with at least one year of related work experience and/or training; general knowledge of home building industry within scope of sales contracts and administrative functions.

Skills and Abilities: General office and administrative skills to assist in the processing of departmental workflow; customer-service oriented with professional and courteous attitude; good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of organization; good organizational skills and detail-oriented aptitude; good working knowledge of CRM word processing and spreadsheet software packages.
