Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding appointments, medical records, billing, insurance coverage, and healthcare services.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to patients in understanding their healthcare benefits, treatment plans, and medication instructions.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Educate patients on available resources, support programs, and community services.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records software.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Monday-Friday.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • 8:30am-5:00pm.

  • Compensation $20.00-$22.00 per hour (DOE).
