Overview

The Senior Corporate Pilot role presents an exceptional chance to enhance your expertise in various facets of Flight Operations at Cirrus Design Corporation. In this capacity, your primary duty will be to assist Cirrus One, our premium service designed for clients desiring a streamlined aircraft ownership experience. This encompasses providing essential concierge services, managing line operations, supervising aircraft maintenance, and delivering pilot services. Furthermore, you will serve as the pilot in command for Cirrus aircraft, executing CFR 14 part 91 corporate flight operations, maintenance return-to-service flights, and aircraft repositioning. Strong piloting skills, analytical thinking, and the capability to operate independently are crucial. Proficient flight planning, resource allocation, and time management abilities are essential for achieving success.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety protocols and regulations set forth by the industry and Cirrus
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous manner
  • Make prompt and informed decisions regarding flight safety
  • Act as pilot in command for a variety of flights, including corporate, Cirrus One, ferry, and maintenance flights
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, perform aircraft maintenance duties, and remain updated on aircraft specifications
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Cirrus Aircraft offerings
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the aircraft and represent Cirrus as a distinguished aviator
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members as necessary
  • Enhance flight safety through high-quality and standardized flight operations
  • Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Possess FAA Pilot Certificate, including Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings
  • ATP certification preferred, along with Certified Flight Instructor ratings for Airplane and Instrument
  • Current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher
  • A minimum of 1,250 total flight hours
  • SF50 Type Rating and at least 100 hours in the SF50 aircraft
  • Preferred experience in IFR, congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night flying
