Job Summary:

As a U-Box Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while transporting U-Box containers to and from customers' locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a flatbed truck and transport U-Box containers to and from customers' locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Load and unload U-Box containers, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.

Requirements:
  • Clean motor vehicle driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Department of Transportation certification
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL)

Work Environment:

This role involves moderate risks and discomforts, requiring special safety precautions and the use of protective gear. The work environment may also involve physical exertion, such as long periods of standing and lifting, as well as exposure to various weather conditions.
