Key Responsibilities:
Surgical Expertise:
- Conduct a variety of general surgical operations, encompassing appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and other elective or urgent procedures.
- Specialize in oncological surgeries pertaining to hepatobiliary cancers, including liver resections, bile duct surgeries, and pancreatic procedures.
- Manage additional common surgical malignancies, such as colorectal resections, gastric surgeries, and esophageal cancer operations.
- Formulate and execute personalized surgical strategies for patients, merging general and specialized oncologic methodologies.
Patient Care:
- Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments, which include patient histories, physical examinations, imaging evaluations, and diagnostic testing for a variety of carcinomas.
- Deliver expert post-operative management, addressing complications, ensuring optimal recovery, and providing patient education regarding cancer treatments and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients facing various cancers.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including medical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, pathologists, and nursing professionals, to guarantee integrated and effective patient care.
- Engage in clear communication with patients and their families concerning diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, and anticipated outcomes.
Research and Educational Contributions:
- Participate in research and clinical trials focused on various carcinomas, including hepatobiliary and general surgical malignancies, to enhance surgical techniques and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the education and mentorship of surgical residents and medical students, and take part in educational programs, seminars, and scholarly publications.
Job Details:
