Key Responsibilities:- Consult on and participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives.
- Review and analyze moderately complex software engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with client personnel and various teams (infrastructure, network security, etc.) for production support.
- Coordinate deployment, automation, and monitoring of batch jobs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ITIL standards.
- Work with global technology teams, primarily based in the US.
- Experience in software engineering with a deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Expertise in SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark (RDDs/data frames, Scala), and ETL processes.
- Strong Unix/Linux skills, shell scripting, and experience with scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Experience in data load management, cloud platforms, and configuring CS/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of ETL procedures and Hadoop ecosystem components.
- Ability to convert Hive/SQL queries into Spark transformations.
- Experience in data center/cloud migration and ITIL standards (incident, change, and problem management).
- Competitive pay range: $55-$60 per hour.
