Fairview Health Services is seeking a highly skilled MI/CD Psychotherapist Trainee to join our Adolescent Outpatient program in Maplewood, MN. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family therapies to adolescents and their families. This role offers supervision toward licensure as part of employment.
Key Responsibilities- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapies to adolescents and their families.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Discharge Planning: Develop and implement discharge plans that address the ongoing needs of patients and their families.
- Education: Master's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 1 year of supervised experience in mental health and chemical dependency, including comprehensive assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.
- Licensure: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or eligible for independent clinical licensure as a LMFT or LPCC.
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in mental health and chemical dependency.
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW).
