Job Title: MI/CD Psychotherapist TraineeJob Summary:

Fairview Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate MI/CD Psychotherapist Trainee to join our Adolescent Outpatient program in Maplewood, MN. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family therapies to adolescents and their families. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, with supervision toward licensure provided as part of employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on age, social, and cultural considerations, clinical diagnosis, level of functioning, and other relevant needs.
  • Facilitate treatment planning and oversee management of each case, collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, individual, group, and family therapies, and develop discharge plans based on age, social, and cultural considerations, clinical diagnosis, and level of functioning.
  • Document thoroughly, timely, legibly, and clinically appropriately, meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in a culture of evidence-based practice, utilizing standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery, and incorporating data and information into practice to continually improve care and practice.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or closely related field.
  • 1 year of supervised experience in mental health and chemical dependency, including comprehensive assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
  • LGSW or eligible for independent clinical licensure as a LMFT or LPCC.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of experience in mental health and chemical dependency.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT).
  • Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW).
