Job Title: Psychotherapist Trainee

Fairview Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychotherapist Trainee to join our team at UMMC West Bank location. As a Psychotherapist Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a fully licensed and system-credentialed supervisor, conducting diagnostic assessments, determining clinical interventions, and facilitating therapy and education for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Treatment Planning: Facilitate treatment planning and manage each case, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct diagnostic assessments, determine clinical interventions, and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively and respectfully with interdisciplinary teams and other contacts, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain thorough, timely, and legible documentation, meeting regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Licensure: Licensed or provisionally licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as LGSW, or working towards independent licensure as an LMFT, or LPCC.
