">Job Description:
">The General Maintenance Worker shall be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties, including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs. All carpentry, electrical work, or simple plumbing repairs are performed under supervision by qualified personnel.
">The successful candidate will assist with indoor/outdoor operation and high-level upkeep of a gov't facility environment with minimal disruptions of regular, ongoing NVFEL business during normal operation hours.
">This role requires the ability to work outside in hot, cold conditions, and lead/assist snow removal, as well as monthly inspection of eyewash/shower stations.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">A high school diploma or equivalent general educational development (GED) certificate is required, along with a valid driver's license.
">At least 3 years of experience working in facility/building or apt/commercial/industrial complex operation and maintenance, and 2 years of HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, or general mechanical maintenance experience are necessary.
">The ideal candidate should have knowledge of acceptable maintenance procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.
">Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
