We are looking for a Full-Time Sales and Customer Support Specialist to become part of our dedicated team.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday during standard business hours with a rotating Saturday morning schedule.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of the construction supplies, tools, and machinery available in our inventory.
- Assist customers in finding products, checking stock levels, and accurately processing sales transactions using our point-of-sale system. Handle various payment methods with efficiency.
- Inform customers about current promotions and discounts.
- Provide precise and comprehensive information regarding the features, applications, and advantages of different construction materials to assist customers in making informed purchasing choices.
- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner, assist with product inquiries, offer recommendations tailored to their needs, and address any concerns or questions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Help with tasks such as restocking shelves, organizing displays, and participating in inventory management.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming product shipments. Ensure that shelves and displays are well-stocked, labeled, and visually appealing. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs.
- Accurately place and transfer products between storage areas for effective inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment by regularly tidying shelves, aisles, and displays. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
