Job Title: Clinical Registered Dietitian I

Job Summary:
Adelante Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Registered Dietitian I to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated care team, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional status of patients across the lifespan and developing evidence-based nutrition care plans. Your expertise will help patients manage conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and weight management.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition care plans
Collaborate with the Integrated care team to ensure seamless patient care
Educate patients on nutrition-related medications, dietary supplements, and drug-nutrient interactions
Develop and review written nutrition-related patient education materials
Refer patients to appropriate interprofessional team members, resources, or programs as needed

Requirements:
Master's degree in Dietetics or nutrition-related degree preferred
Current credentials as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross
Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
Documented excellence in customer service and ability to interact with clients from beginner to advanced levels

Work Environment:
As a Clinical Registered Dietitian I, you will work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. You will be exposed to weather conditions when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. You may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
