Job Summary:

As a key member of the Carle Health team, the PACU Support Specialist will provide operational support to the department manager, lead RNs, and other departmental personnel as needed. This role requires utilizing technical knowledge and skills to ensure smooth and efficient department processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provides operational support to the department manager, lead RNs, and other departmental personnel as needed.
* Utilizes technical knowledge and skills to ensure smooth and efficient department processes.
* Assists the clinical areas with routine duties such as maintenance, cleaning, and record keeping.
* Supports the clinical staff through the performance of ancillary procedures such as taking vital signs, assisting with changing clothes, and other patient needs identified.

Requirements:

* Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
* Multicultural sensitivity and critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing department needs.
