Join our dedicated Pharmacy Team as a Clinical Pharmacist - Medicare in a managed care environment. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of pharmacy services and improving health outcomes for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and oversee clinical pharmacy initiatives, including medication therapy management, adherence strategies, and chronic disease management.
  • Conduct comprehensive drug utilization reviews (DUR) to ensure optimal medication practices.
  • Engage in utilization and authorization assessments in accordance with established guidelines, assist in developing cost-effective pharmacy strategies, and provide oversight of Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals regarding prescription medications and therapeutic interventions.

About Our Team:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with drug utilization reviews, Medicare Part D regulations, formulary management, and medication therapy management (MTM) services.
  • Skills: Ability to serve as a technical resource, interpret complex regulations, and develop innovative solutions for pharmacy-related challenges.
  • Education and Experience: Active California Pharmacist license, Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a health plan, hospital, or retail pharmacy setting.

Additional Information:

  • This position operates in a hybrid work model, with remote interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • Attendance at company-wide events or departmental meetings may be required periodically.
