Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the West territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding existing sales, developing new sales, and building an account portfolio in California and Nevada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand existing sales and develop new sales in the West territory
  • Grow leasing companies, fleets, and trailer business
  • Grow business with Body OEM's
  • Direct, develop, and execute sales plans and strategies to attain better profitability and level of service throughout the territory
  • Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
  • Generate leads
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
  • Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers
  • Manage regional meetings/associations
  • Attend meetings with vendors/suppliers
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products

Requirements

  • Must reside in California or be willing to relocate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) Sales
  • Prior work experience in truck equipment or truck sales experience, preferred
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Experience communicating with customers verbally and in writing
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic and reasoning
  • Experience collaborating with others and building teams
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience negotiating contracts and influencing others
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reports
  • Ability to travel to various states within the U.S.
