The Role
We are seeking a Residential Support Staff member to advance our mission at Hurley House. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, maintain a clean facility, and uphold the integrity and confidentiality of our programs.
- Accurate log entries are maintained.
- Regular hourly rounds are performed inside and outside the program.
- Bedroom checks ensure resident safety.
- All required documentation is completed in a timely manner (e.g., incident reports).
- Staff meetings are attended as required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure client/resident safety and cleanliness of the House at all times.
- Clear sidewalks, porches, stairs, and doorways of debris, snow, and other obstacles to allow proper access and egress.
- Consistently follow Program policies and protocols in all functions.
- Facilitate and/or supervise urine drug-screening collection processes and the administration of medications in accordance with Program-specific policies and BSAS protocols.
- Protect the integrity and confidentiality of clients and the Program at all times.
- Be present and punctual for all assigned shifts.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual with:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctual reporting for work. Experience working with a diverse population is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Competent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (MHSA will provide training opportunities).
