Job Title: Residential Support Staff ProfessionalIn this role, you will play a critical part in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality person-centered services at Hurley House. As a Residential Support Staff member, you will prioritize the safety and well-being of our residents, maintain the cleanliness of the facility, and uphold the integrity and confidentiality of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Document resident activities and program progress accurately and in a timely manner to maintain program transparency and accountability.
- Conduct regular hourly rounds inside and outside of the program to identify potential hazards and ensure resident safety.
- Verify resident safety and security through regular bedroom checks.
- Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports) in an accurate and timely manner to maintain program consistency and effectiveness.
- Participate in staff meetings as required to stay informed about program updates and best practices.
- Remove obstacles and maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure client/resident safety and well-being.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by consistently following Program policies and protocols in all Program functions.
- Serve as a liaison between Program staff and clients to facilitate smooth communication and ensure medication adherence.
- Prioritize the confidentiality and integrity of clients and the Program by adhering to professional boundaries and ethical standards.
- Establish a reliable attendance record and be punctual for all assigned shifts to ensure continuity of care and effective communication with team members.
- Develop and implement comprehensive evacuation plans to prepare residents and staff for emergency situations.
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional growth by attending in-service and outside training as directed by the Program Director.
