Job Title: Crisis WorkerJob Summary

Thresholds is seeking a Crisis Worker to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). As a Crisis Worker, you will respond to mental health crises in the community, providing support and interventions to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to mental health crises in the community, providing support and interventions to individuals in need.
  • Conduct safety assessments and determine the best course of action for each situation.
  • Work collaboratively with Peer Engagement Specialists to provide face-to-face interventions and support.
  • Document services provided and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including training and community outreach efforts.
Requirements
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Good writing skills and ability to document services provided.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle (preferred).
  • Ability to work assigned schedule, including Saturday shifts.
