Position Overview:
The Senior Water Systems Engineer plays a crucial role in managing complex engineering projects with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires a proactive approach to project management and technical expertise in water systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develops comprehensive Water System Plans.
2. Prepares detailed Project Reports and Construction Documentation.
3. Provides mentorship and guidance to Technicians and junior staff.
4. Estimates construction costs for Improvement Projects.
5. Assists in formulating the annual budgets for capital improvement programs.
6. Conducts hydraulic calculations and assessments, utilizing hydraulic modeling tools.
7. Engages in meetings with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and project alignment.
8. Guides draftspersons and technicians in transforming field notes into precise working drawings.
9. Monitors construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications.
10. Analyzes system growth for proposed developments and engages with applicants.
11. Manages project schedules and budgets effectively.
12. Participates in the company's Continuous Improvement initiatives.
13. Prepares and reviews bid specifications for construction projects.
14. Oversees construction or consultancy tasks, including managing change orders and inspections.
15. Develops and tracks the scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.
16. Utilizes financial software to maintain accurate project cost monitoring.
17. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of relevant engineering experience.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
