Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist to join our team at Community Care Physicians. As a key member of our sleep center, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, as well as providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation and Testing: Gather and analyze patient information, prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting.
  • Polysomnographic Procedural Protocols: Follow all polysomnographic procedural protocols, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age-specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Record Scoring and Analysis: Assist with all polysomnographic record scoring and provide detailed analysis of test results.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of integrity with HIPAA guidelines and patient matters.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain DME-Cpap equipment, instruct patients on Cpap setup/use and maintenance, and complete all necessary paperwork for billing.
Requirements
  • Registered and licensed Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of polysomnographic testing and analysis
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
