Surveillance Agent I

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surveillance Agent I to join our team at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa. As a key member of our surveillance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our gaming operations.

• Maintain surveillance watch in all areas and activities, ensuring the security and integrity of our gaming operations.
• Record any irregular activities as required, providing accurate and detailed reports to management.
• Conduct video surveillance of customer and employee activities in gaming and money handling areas, identifying potential security risks and reporting them to management.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, implementing effective solutions to prevent losses.
• Stay up-to-date with gaming regulations, company policies, and department procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to established standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• 1-2 years of gaming casino surveillance experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a basic surveillance aptitude test, demonstrating strong math skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Thorough knowledge of casino games and operations, with the ability to identify potential security risks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, with a high level of energy and a proactive approach to dealing with issues.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, with normal color acuity and vision correctable to 20/20.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
