Job Title: Welcome Center Representative

At Sulphur Springs YMCA, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Welcome Center Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests, ensuring a seamless experience, and promoting our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome Center Operations: Assist leadership with welcome center operations to ensure membership engagement, acquisition, retention, and continuous improvement.
  • Membership Sales: Support membership sales, including meeting/exceeding established goals, conducting new and returning member tours, and processing member transactions.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all YMCA policies and procedures regarding safety, health, and welfare of members, program participants, guests, and staff.
  • General Operations: Support all departments as necessary to ensure "best in class" services and programs.

We are looking for applicants who possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, can work flexible hours, and have reliable transportation. Prior work and/or volunteer experience, customer service experience, and proficiency in using email, Internet, and other PC-based applications are preferred.

Certifications/Trainings Required: Must obtain within 30 days of employment and then maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid training.
