Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive at Marriott International Inc, you will drive revenue growth by proactively soliciting business from various segments, including small business accounts, new accounts, and re-soliciting past business leads. You will focus on properties BT Pricing strategy, providing property support by coordinating and executing internal mining efforts at assigned hotels. You will partner with Leadership to ensure competitive sales strategies are in place for the hotel and stay competitive within the market.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities from small business accounts, new accounts, and re-soliciting past business leads.
- Coordinate and execute internal mining efforts at assigned hotels to drive revenue growth.
- Partner with Leadership to ensure competitive sales strategies are in place for the hotel and stay competitive within the market.
- Work closely with hotel General Managers to focus on sales-driven tasks.
- May work with Local Sales and U.S. Account Sales/GSO teams to drive production from targeted high-priority accounts.
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
- Preferred: 4-year college degree; previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline; knowledge of property-specific business segments (e.g., group, catering, transient); knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Marriott International Inc offers a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $80,000 annually, with a quarterly bonus.
