Role Summary

The Cage Cashier is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of gaming shift documentation. This role involves performing transactions with the Main Bank, verifying all funds received from the Count Room, and preparing daily financial deposits. The Cage Cashier plays a crucial role in safeguarding company assets by meticulously recording and reporting all cash and non-cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain adequate currency levels in various denominations to facilitate all transaction requirements.
  • Handle cash, chips, and associated paperwork, demonstrating strong mathematical and cash handling skills.
  • Adhere to Title 31 regulations and the company's anti-money laundering policies.
Position Requirements

Availability: Must be flexible to work all shifts and days.

Licensing: Current Nevada Driver's License or ID with fingerprints.

Experience: Previous experience in a cage environment is preferred.

Skills: Intermediate computer proficiency, including email, basic database management, and word processing.

Mathematical Proficiency

Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Educational Background

High school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Demands

This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Experience Requirements

Prior experience in cash handling or operating a cash register is essential. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are also important.
